Yes. There is also “special operation”. Nothing about “Destroyer”.

It’s special ops. They just don’t know how to name it.

Thanks! I see - it’s that mission with ~100% loss rate.

If you go with randoms of course it is,well,as much as there are enough destroyers maybe you will win, maybe…

Go on russian server you’ll win every time ^^

It says we need to do the spec ops “destroyer” which is the 7-15 one. Just play it tomorrow in T3 and you can barely loose it, even with randoms.

I played a Defiler mission today with randoms. A total massacre. They do not know nothing. Chance of winning with randoms is 10% or more like 1%.

Well, no one told you to do it. And that is how defiler always ends with randoms.

I’m pretty sure common sense would not tell you to stay near a huge alien portal to take selfies…

The way crystal plate works is that is has 2 parts

Part one - Like galvanized - it increases all hull resistances to a certain amount (it is a value in a tool-tip, scales with MK rank)

Part 2 - in battle, for each enemy successfully dealing dmg to wielder of crystal armor, there will be a buff with certain amount of resistances stacked on top. There is a limit to amount of stacks, and stacks expire after period of time.

Thanks. And what’s the maximum value of the second part ? Duration ?

They probably made this to make WolfKan build less useless

11 Resistance per enemy

Duration 10 seconds

Can’t remember the cap on enemies (but should be around 10)

So, a bit like r9-1 implant. Okey thanks ! Seems like it’s better to spend your live crystal on a gun in the end.

that decision is up to  ![;)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/002.png “;)”)

Archelon doesn’t have hull slots does it?

Also the mechanic should be less reliant on the number of players attacking you and more on the damage incoming I think. Because the way it is now. It doesn’t seem like you’ll even reach its full potential. If it was more like “Adds 1 point of resistance per 200 damage taken.” It would be much more usable and reliable.

The way it is now, I don’t see it being used to its full potential in anything other than PvE.

Yeah it’s how I thought it worked. It would be so cool for shield tanking. But in the end, it’s just a giga2, and galva is more reliable in the end.

Maybe for destroyers because everybody tend to focus them, but I don’t think it’ll change much.

You do realize that being damaged by 2 sources is already breaks it even with Galvanized armor AND has no rotation penalty?

The problem isn’t the effect but the price. We don’t know yet how many months of farming does represent 50 live crystal so for now, galva is good.

I thought that galvanised coating was something like 50 points or whatever. It is pretty good.

Also what will they do if multiples are on a single ship? Will the effects stack?

Multiple modules don’t stack (only passive part one function stacks with diminishing like regular module) Active can only be produced from 1 module, just like any other active buff in a battle (except adaptives)

Crystal armor most of the time equal to galvanised and in PvE and open-space it is easily 4x galvanized with no penalties

So great for pve. ok
