Faction Shortcuts? Faction Station switching? Open Space?

I heard you could move thru sectors in open space to change faction stations. I tried to do so in a R7 interceptor to do dailies in all three factions but got stopped by Rank limit at all gates I tried out of Jericho space (like one between Terramorphing Station and Sorting Facility).

Can you only change faction stations physically if you are in a Rank10+ ship?

Is there a different shortcut or route to this I’m just “missing”?

Or do I just have to pay the 500,000creds every time I want to shift faction?

I tried to move a Rand7 ship from Jericho space to any other faction station and got stopped by the Rank 10 requirement of sectors outside of Jericho space.  I had read it was possible to make this physical move to do the dailies for mono at the differing factions.  

 

Now I’m confused, do I actually have to be in a Rank10 ship to do that?  

Is there a route I’m just not seeing?

A shortcut of some kind?

Is there another method to paying the freaking 500k credits to do the auto transfer of faction?

Currently, you can only travel between federation and empire stations on rank 7 ships. To jericho you still need a rank 10 ship from any other stations.

Hopefully, they will implement hyperjump via alien-sectors. As those are afair in r7 sectors available.

I usually travel through OS to change stations most of the times,and I use the Spectre Falcon for as it can be the fastest ship,it takes me under 4 min to go from one station to another without any stopping for loot,the shortest route to each station from each station are:

 

-Fed-Empire:New Eden->Control Post->Abandoned Outpost->Destroyed station->Smugglers’ Hideout->Raider Range->Scrapyard->Ontregos Drift->Imperial Transport Hub->Guardian 17

 

-Fed-Jericho:New Eden->Control Post->Abandoned Outpost->Destroyed station->Smuggles’ Hideout->Sorting Fac->Terramorphing Station->Orange Giant->Stripped Deposits->Mendes-IX

 

-Jericho-Empire:Mendes-IX->Stripped Deposits->Orange Giant->Terramorphing Station->Sorting Fac->Raider Range->Scrapyard->Ontregos Drift->Imperial Transport Hub->Guardian 17

Good to know. I’m a new player who picked Jericho as their first station and it’s kind of sad to know that at rank 7 I’d be able to switch between fed/emp for double the daily missions; I think rank 10 will take a lot longer for me to hit than than rank 7 did, and I kind of don’t understand the current star-setup (like, why make one faction have this kind of restriction? why not make them all 7, or all 10?)
