[F] Turret display micro lags

i’ve noticed this bug(?) today while flying with my t3 cerberus 2 frigate, standard military railguns with anti matter and uranium shells

 

the bug:

 

when i move the mouse slowly from left to right for example, while have the “small” scope active the turrets will lag and will start flashing between the positions which the mouse already has been

 

i don’t know if this acutally affects aiming

It does not. The enigne will focus on Targets in range. Also all obstacles on the battlefield. If you spin around a beacon and aim on an asteroid a bit away and then aim on the beacon you can see how the turrets “jump” on the beacon.

actually, my heavy lasers are “jumping” as well, i understand that their turn speed is limited and that is working perfectly, however sometimes when i focus on an enemy my aiming rectancle keeps jumping up and down for no reason, i dont have this problem with any other weapon(havent tested other heavy weapons tho)

It appears with other heavy weapons too but very rare. Its some sort of glitch in the aiming mechanik. It appears because all turrets will start to focus the target. If you aim on an close target the laser will auto focus the beam on that range. All turrets will face the target, but since they are so slow they need time. In that moment there is no real aim point prediction. And thats what you see. Your crosshair will start to fly high up untill the turrets are focused.

 

I will also forward this, since its a horrible glitch when using heavy lasers in close range.
