I’ve noticed that when you had accomplished all contracts in faction A, change to faction B and back to faction A,
all contacts will be avaiable again.
You have to spend some hard earned credits, but you will gain reputation much faster. Choose faction B as a faction with reputation lvl 1, then it will cost you only one credit to change back to faction A.
I dont know if that was intended so it may be a bug, but i dont know.

At the moment this works as intended, but it may be changed in the future.
Best exploid ever. xD And hell yeah it is intendet to work this way. I guess thats also the reason why so much ppl having 4 Ships and rank 15 with a faction.
Yeah I think this should be changed or the penalties for changing faction should be increased and a cooldown time should be added so you can’t just switch back and forth, say a 24 hour period where you can’t change factions after you already changed.
People are artificially deflating the games play time by changing factions and ranking up faster.

I dont like the idea of a 24 hour waiting time. It should be like he contracts wont reset after changing the faction.
No point really. At rank 7 you got so many short contracts that you just cycle thou them. And it costs 100k to change faction.
Yes, but when you change the faction, and back again, you “buy” more than 7500 rep points. (2000 rep, 4000 rep, 1500 rep)
These mini contract just gives you about 500 rep points.

You aren’t suppose to like it, it is a limitation to prevent exploitation.
Honestly I don’t like the fact that you can change faction for easy points, to me that defeats a lot of the point of factions (especially when the game gets older and we start having faction/clan wars.). I would say increase the penalties to make it unattractive to do.
Loyalty should be rewarded, not punished.
Perhaps there should be loyalty contracts that only activate if you stick with a specific faction for a certain period of time (say you stay with a faction for a month, then the contract unlocks and you can start it and it gives a large reward for being loyal after finishing it).
I dont like the idea of a 24 hour waiting time, because i enjoy to play with all factions.
Frequently i change to a lower rep faction, when im playing with friends with less reputation level. And when i am on my own, i change back to my big ships.
I noticed this speed level issue because i have changed my faction for the first time a few days ago. And i dont like it either that people abusing this way to gain fast rep. As Gentaei said, there already some players with rep lvl 15. I encouter some too and it wasnt a pretty supprise.
The 24 hour waiting time is a bar to players who want to enjoy all ships.
I suggest that there maybe another way to prevent exploitation.

Okay good, and this is the kind of brainstorming we need to do so that we can come up with a proper fix.
If the waiting period is no good how about Gold Standards instead of Credits to change faction, nothing big, say five or ten Gold Standards to change faction?
There needs to be something that makes it unattractive to abuse but still usable and if it made some revenue for the devs then that’s all good in my book, what do you think about that idea?
