The rank 9 / tier 3 Federation implant Beta-accelerator “Cheetah II” (increases maximum afterburner speed by 15%) does not work while I’m flying a tier 3 Hawk-eye Interceptor.
My maximum afterburner speed prior to using this implant was 483. My speed after installing the implant is still 483 (it should be 555 based on the stated 15% speed increase).
My operating system is Windows 7 64-bit.
Processor is AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.40 GHz.
RAM is 8 gigs of DDR3.
Graphics Card is ATI Radeon 5850 1 GB.

Edit: I now realize this is not an error itself. The application of the upgrade depends on the rank of the ship rather than the tier of the ship. So once I have a rank 9 ship (the Hawk-eye is only rank 7), then it should work. However, this points up - if not an error in the implant itself - a need for some clarification. For example, the Hawk-eye is a tier 3 ship. The Cheetah II implant falls within the “T3” column (rank 9 sub-column) in the implant screen. This mistakenly led me to believe that any tier 3 ship should be compatible with this tier 3 implant.
