[F]Game crashed within minutes of starting a pvp match

I have had no problems playing this game until this latest patch. I can get into a game and fly around for a minute or two, then it crashes. One time, a trigger was using mines on my fighter, while other times it seems random, possibly me using my weapons and modules. I’ve changed settings and reinstalled after experiencing this 3-4 times and after the reinstall it still happened with the same error. I can’t think of anything other than the new patch giving me problems.

 

Whatever this is, “FATAL| Hlsl_shader_Win360.cpp(65)”, this is giving me problems.

 

Windows 7, Intel®  Core2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+

A side note, when I was patching the game, my antivirus (Avira) picked something up from the download midway so it stopped, I turned it off and continued to download/patch the game. An error occurred and it might have corrupted something, I dunno. But it should be fine because I reinstalled the game.

Assertion failed came back to me.

I am getting this same error every single time i try to play.

like 75% of the people playing (myself included) seem to be having the same error. They need to revert to before the new patch until they can get this fixed.

yep, i had the same problem. crashed withing 1-2 minutes of play. i updated my nvidia drivers, then tried again. Now I can’t even start the launcher. “star conflict launcher failed, cannot initialize D3D”

 

so now i cannot even start the game, let alone get into battle.

 

And why would I want to? in the brief 2-3 minutes of game i had, i noticed that frigates camera view makes them unplayable.

 

i didn’t get to see the horrible new loot system in action.

 

Congratulations Devs, you ruined your own game.

 

Star conflict is dead. End.

Just reverse this goddamn patch. I was looking forward to play the whole day because this is the first f***** time in weeks I got time fo dat.

 

Please, kick out the new camera, reverse the lootsystem and fix this error, because it really grinds my goddamn gears -.-

 

Your game is awesome…please don’t make it bad…PLEASE I want to love this game…
