[F]Constant Client Crashes (in-game)

When I run the client, it starts up fine and I can log in. Before the latest patch, the client would occasionally crash when I attempted to join a game. The match-making service would find a match, but the client would crash while the match is loading. Usually I would just have to relog to be able to join the match. The client would also crash the the end of most matches, after showing the effect of participation players in the match and showing how much reputation and experiences had been gained. That was before the latest patch.

Since the latest patch, everytime I attempt to load a match, the client crashes; no exceptions. It’s reached the point where I don’t even bother to send bug reports anymore since I’ve sent quite a few already. So I’ve reached the point where I can’t play anymore. Has anyone else been having a similar problem?

Don’t know the problem but lets try the usual, if you didn’t already tried it.

Did you check, if your system corresponds with the hardware requirements?

Did you update your drivers? Audio and Graphic?

I did upgrade as many drivers as I could when I first started playing the game. I’m not sure what the system requirements for the game are but, when I checked the folder containing the bug reports, I found another folder called exceptions with quite a few logs in it. I think the reason the game may be crashing is that (this is only a hypothesis), if I try to join a match with 16 real players or more, the client crashes because my computer (which is actually pretty crappy) doesn’t have enough memory to handle it. 15 real players or less, I can join the game. When the game crashes after a match on returning to the hangar, I still don’t have a clue…

Did you try to lower the grafic settings?

A freind of mine is having similar problems. His computer is much better than mine yet his crashes after every battle and mine goes to the hanger. we both have lowest settings on and his meets the sys reqs (while mine does not lol). so i dont know if this helps but there you have it.

i get the same crash, very rare when starting a battle but when it ends, if touch the go to hangar button it will crash.

not sure this is a pc issue, if i can browse the hangar with no problem and then play a match wich is the one that consumes more resources with no problem either why will my pc crash going from stadistics to hangar.

I’m pretty sure that my laptop is below the minimum requirements for this game as it has:

2gig ram

intel pentium dual core 2.0ghz

windows 7 64bit

directx 11

intel HD graphics

the specs probably explain why so many frames aren’t being rendered but for the disconnecting problem, I dunno.

Yup, the application crash is due to your hardware reaching it’s intended limit, without overhead the program faults and crashes.

Pretty much only a Better PC will fix these issues, especially with a laptop as they generally cannot be upgraded.

I notice you both have onboard graphics, those usually don’t have enough of their own individual memory and share it with the ram so it could be simply that you do not have enough bandwidth and overhead to play the game, when the game gets going and requests more memory it cannot access it and crashes (faults).

The HD video cards are not fully supported yet, so this should be the reason for the crashes.
