basically this allows players to get a first shot with the disintegrator module using the external camera, and potentially use a laser to aim the module on short ranged combat.
steps to reproduce:
1-find a target and shoot at it
2-switch into sniper mode with fire button held on
3- notice the alternate weapon fires aimed on the original target, although the camera position resets to the front of the ship
