just want to know how this R6 ship can have all this amount of resistance ? An idea ?

Command module actives. They show up in the stats display. +60 on to all resists on hull (Mk.4) and +50 (Mk.4) to shields in Harpy’s case apparently, and a thermal insulator Mk.1 for +39 on hull. Also, not using R1-3 implant.

Command buffs won’t show in results screen.

That amount of resistances are most likely from “rookie bonus” that you give you extra resistances and damage output in first few days after registering.

[@Rob40468](< base_url >/index.php?/profile/242210-rob40468/) There’s no other explanation that fits those numbers though. +50 to shields is obviously a command buff, +60 to hull as well (There is no +40). Unless the rookie buffs match the command Mk.4 buffs exactly, but that would seem too much of a coincidence. In fact, I’m not sure such a ‘rookie resistance buff’ exists, and it would probably expire long before R6. It would also create an unequal playing field if it did exist, so it would be a bug or design oversight/error.

Its the rookie bonus, probably that guy started playing not too long ago.

I digged it out from translations. 50 res and 75% main weapon and missile damage, not described for how long. He has licence, reaching R5 is not that long.

Wow… so bad game design? Is it 50 res for both? should be either 40 or 60 on hull, depending on implant, not 50.

Seen this guy earlier with his harpy: 11 kills 0 deaths. Couldnt even kill him (btw a very balanced team he has, 6 harpy).

Probably some second account abusing rookie bonus to have fun, that’s all.

But it does provide some advantage to those who rush tiers, especially with DPS classes.

Needs cap at R3 or R4, so you can’t play R6-R8 games with them.

Wait, does that mean if you buy R6-R9 prems, you still get the rookie bonus in those tiers? Isn’t there a cap somewhere?

The bonus dissapears in time and not as you level, if you can get to R15 before it runs out then it will still count, but that can only be doable if you sink A LOT of money into the game. I wouldn’t be surprised if anyone did that at this point.

People spending 55$ to get a R5 ship and nothing else, of course someone did.

I don’t think you would need to waste loads of money to get the bonus in T5, I’m not sure how the system works atm, but I remember all you had to buy was 1 Prem per tier, so in a theory that’s 5 ships. Also tomorrow I think there is going to be 75% sale so it wouldn’t even cost that much.

Isn’t it hard to tier rush now with “you need 50,000 more ships before you can progress”?
