Its weird the counter to a tackler with cruise engine going 700ms is a tackler ? Out runs, all interceptors and can be fit with enough cap to negate ecm energy syphon. Also, I like anyone who 2 shots a cov ops with gauss means they are good competition. XD

also don’t you forget the > 650 m/s fed recon fits with plasma guns. kills almost nothing, but cruise tacklers, nom nom nom.

Actually fitting a cruise on a Bear, isn t that bad of a strategy. It can pull range against anything in t3, with a gauss it an 2-3 shot any interceptor and tackle range is 4K. Flying it like a jet is a pretty good strategy. However, against stix or guard it can’t do much.

bear is the only t3 tackler. Hyena is meh, some ppl are decent in it. i can beat most ppl and im not a top tackler pilot. Parallax is a singularity ship not gauss.

The only ship in which I can stand doing cruise and gauss on is the rockwell, as it has the ability to be energy stable with a passive armor.
The Bear lacks the potential of being energy stable with cruise while using 2 pulse dischargers (the only viable way of being able to 2 shot, or sometimes even 1 shot a ceptor).

Yep. I have a Rockwell that uses gauss in T5. Lion Mk II also can work well with gauss in T5.

I thought it meant they used an aimbot, or am I getting information from the wrong people?
as far as gauss being the only thing you have that can kill interceptors fine, I do all right with ions and in some situations, flux phasers. I just haven’t played much T5 recently because of destroyer missions and playing other things.
