No idea, it doesn’t show above. Maybe just cosmetic effect for now. I really wanna see these effects do something to my ship.

Yeah it shoulda do such a thing, since that’s what being shocked/em stuff usually do in games. :o

That would xxxx up most skills like heals, dmg boost or even the charge of HB (even worse than the command missiles). If it only happens after shields are gone, empire is gonna suck hard, while jericho will stand as the strongest faction.
As I said; rarer. Like a critical, critical hit. Plasma affects modules. Kinetic affects weaponry. Thermal affects engines.
We gonna see how these stuff turn out in the near future. :o I still think that they’re just cosmetic effects now, and doesn’t do anything to your ship. Didn’t notice that burning weapons don’t let you fire as I didn’t try yet.
