The energy converter, if it works how it says it works, and is based on the technology that it says that it is based on, should look like a little geeen energy core like you see on the Hunter and Scout ships. This way it fits the theme of alien stuff and would look better on the alien ships than a little orange generic turret.

I agree. They should make a new sound for energy converter, including a different colored beam (green one), with also different visual effects.
