Federation gets +15% AB speed, Jericho +7 resist.

You do know resists because increasingly terrible after 100? once he has hit the 100 it doesnt really matter if he gains more resists or not.
Yes, it’s op’d, but I don’t think anyone uses that thing purely because stacking resists past 150-ish becomes terribly inefficient for your tank. I’d much rather have the Federation implant, even for Frigates.
I’d use the SR MK3.
yeah after 100 Res. dmg is only reduced by 50%, and it only goes higher in small increments. 200 resistance is only 75% dmg reduction. (do correct me if I’m wrong)
It’s 66% reduction at 200 resist. 75% at 300, 80% at 400.

It shows that anything over 100 is kinda useless.
I can take off my emergency shield of my kite and have 100 resistance, effectively surviving a pulsar from killing me.
still: compared the the jerico one it feels kinda up…
it is OP and that’s that, and for those who know what it takes to win, they’re gonna use every last bit of 1% advantage they get since ‘average’ is not an option

If you’re in a Command ship or Recon, you can survive “relatively” unscathed…

Theoretical empire guardgineer has 90/90/90 hull resist.
Gigas 2 implant +6 locks = 150/150/150 = 40% damage from all types.
Add remote hull.
Add nanodrone.
Add possible repair kit.
That’s going to last a heck of a long time…

On a plasma arc:
5720 damage per second.
50% reduction = 2860
60% reduction = 2288
That’s quite a big damage drop. The thing is; on tank ships this implant immediately makes them prone to a very unsubtle OPness.
if you have 6 locks on you, no matter your resists(as long as they arent a 1000 :P) you will most likely die. tank will help you only so much until 12k DPS starts hitting you.(with bursts of even higher DPS by missiles)
Edit: Wouldn’t that be a cool event? xD 15 v 1, the 1 person has resists that block 95% of the damage, and he may have no repair modules :3
