That build works quite well for me, in pre 9.0 and pre ESB times I was a loner in T4, thats why I use so many restoration mods. Cant change old habits
On the other hand: Afterburner disabler is completely useless, since they highend the base-speed (guess they overlooked that mod when they implemented the change) and it had and has still a crappy range.
Actually, due to ship-layouts Tiger>Tiger II and Lion>Lion II, at least imo. The Mk IIs might be better sniper tho, but gauss isnt working for me. Their Speed on the other hand (this one is 465) makes them better for bubbleguns.

I see, pretty agile and fast, but with weak shields and hull, and you compensate that with some regen modules and passive hull regen, and an emergency barrier. The only problem I find is that the hull repair module has a extreme long cd and I don’t know if is rly effective? i’ve tried it in t3 and that long cd make it very very situational to use imo, only the experimental ones have a good cd
As good as it gets… still you have to subtract time from skill/proton wall.
Interesting, I have a purple T3 stasis and purple T3 ion diffuser. Energy usage is 125 for me, with a 30 second cool down. Duration and range are the same. I’m assuming you’re using Empire R10 implant. How does that compare with Jericho R10?

That’s because ECM’s aren’t killers. Recon can suck shields at the tap of a button, and slow down your healing. Covert ops can white noise to distract you, plasma arc and plasma web to help finish. ECM’s stop ships for whatever. The most an ECM can do is make you crash into asteroids and kill you if you don’t have Jericho R9. They’re great for combat recon. They’re good in squads. Otherwise it’s follow the pack.
Guys we are not discussing about how viable ECM are (that Zap ECM build it’s unstoppable in t4 anyway lol) but the way this cheat ship with the cheat stasi mod affects the gamepley…And this is very simple to explaine: i’m enjoing my fight and suddenly i can’t move anymore and got got killed in less than 2 seconds…It’s like being disconnected, very likely a hack…That’s why i dont like this ship at all and sure i’m not alone:

No, it really isn’t unstoppable. Trust me. ECM does need some work to get balanced, but whining that you can’t kill them when they’re so easy to kill doesn’t help anyone, much less yourself.

Yea, I use Rank 10 Empire. The Jerry one is “Effect Increase”? It doesnt change the parameters of stasis at all. Also Arigato AE has no additional bonuses on Modules.
MM really screwed me yesterday and put me in very bad teams. wasnt able to make on kill with the Arigato. After I died i spawned in the Eagle-M, result: 8 Kills.

Tbh.: I would trade stasis in for an AoE ECM like it is realized in MWO (it messes with your HUD and you cant lock on targets), but then I guess ppl would love to have stasis back.
Yes, good ECM teams can be hard to fight against, but they are not unbreakable. This is because you faced good ecm players and teams, just as if you would face a good pilot of any other class. ECM are fine as they are now and are not in need of fixing.
Learn to counter them.
I will not teach you everything, but I can tell you only so much, so heed these words:
It is not just about proton walls and tank. You want to take them out before they come in range. If they are too close, it is already too late. No ammount of proton wall and tank will save you against a good pair of ecm team. Be more aware of your surroundings and be prepared for them. You have to take them early on, before they start chewing on you.
Boo-xxxx-hoo. I got killed dozens of times because of ECMs. What do you want to do about it? I’ll tell you what. Not whine like a little xxxxx and actually work towards NOT getting shot to xxxx in 2 seconds. Here’s how:
> Jericho implant that reduces stun duration.
> Proton Walls
> MORE TANK
Even a complete rock-thick brained idiot can see how to counter an ECM to not only get killed during the stun, but how to avoid it completely and kill the ECM while you’re at it. Get real, the devs aren’t changing another damned thing about the game, it’s gonna stay as it is, so get used to it, man up and start playing with that pathetic little sponge you call a brain.

U can easy use a tackler to counter ecm b4 they approach to you. But this is true for each kind of ship but ECM is the only one that can completely stop yours…This is too much and it reminds me about hacking. I don’t like the idea and never did. Stasi generator is just cheating. There’s no skill in using it…(and tbh that’s why i hate, and always did, torpedoes too)

Using a plasma arc requires lot of skill. Add some skill in using that stasi then… Why not reducing stasi active range to 300 too…and stay in that range for at least 0.8 sec. to activate that stasi thing??? This is skill, this is fighting, this is support role…Then the stasi can also last for 3 secs…but at least u got to be skilled to use that
I successfully countered one of the best ecm combo players I’ve seen so far, with double tackler setup. It was funny how easy it was to take them down, considering as to how much problems they were giving us before (i was flying gunship or command since it was a bigger game and the ecm group got us by surprise). And it was against the same guys every game. So when they got their asses kicked in a 3v3 with our tacklers, one of them switched to Recon next game of course, which I saw coming, where we switched ships again.
I don’t see it as hacking. I see it as a completely viable disable/stun mechanic. Ever played a moba? Those games are all about that, and i have nothing against stun/snare mechanics. Yes, it is annoying, but you have to know the risks. This is what makes it fun, and exciting. It there would be no ecm or other dangerous ships which can xxxx you up fast, than this game would be boring!
Stasi is not insta death. ECM lack of damage helpers like plasma arc/web in CovOps and Parasitic on recon. And its slow.
Sure it is! Depends on ships, builds and tiers…But for sure it is in squad…and sometime u can be disabled 2-3 times in a row…How fun! What a skill! This is just cheating to me…pls devs put skill in using that stasi
Yes, statis can sometimes mean insta-death, if the enemy team is good at it.
And this is why you have to be careful when ecm’s are around. It’s same in any moba game with snares. If you venture out too far, you might get stunned and stomped, and one death or few deaths on your team can quickly turn into a lost game. This is what makes the game interesting and intense. It is supposed to be this way.
And that is why stasi need to be difficault to use… Plasma arc could be deadly too but requires skill. As i already said:
