Is it possible to release the mechanics of the new dreadnought gamemode before we choose the faction of the dreadnought?
^this, how we can choose between different dreadn, if we don’t know how they work?
I’ve been trying to contact my CEO to discuss which dreadnought to build, but from the sounds of it, the Jerry one and the Imperial one will be the most commonly sighted, due to higher defenses and firepower.
What sort of things will the prizes be for building this thing faster?
As right now, it seems a race to build a dread but despite spending vast quantities extra to build it, you still get it at the same time as everyone else…
It also seems that there is little point bothering if you aren’t pretty sure your corp can make it into the top 10…
All I wanna say is, DREADNAUGHTS!!! But it looks like that the Federation is going to be the best, just because of the massive amounts of drones that will be able to peel ships down really fast, leaving the players to destroy them.

I’d also like to know what the prize is…
To me, I imagine all three being highly useful. Obviously firepower is great, but if the weapon systems are somehow taken out, that makes the Emp dreadnought vulnerable. If the command module on the federation dreadnought is destroyed, I would assume it has to be rebuilt to recommand drones, leaving it vulnerable. The Jeri dreadnought is interesting, since large amounts of firepower are needed to get the shields down, and then its over. I expect Jeri dreadnoughts to be the be the best because of their longevity in battle. Mistakes on the player side will be somewhat less catastrophic than other choices. Also, since dreadnoughts can damage other dreadnoughts, it will be interesting to see how powerful they are against each other. I wanna see a Jeri v Jeri fight °-°

Though I’m gonna go ahead and complain that little-people corps like mine and 95% of the other ones out there will only -just- be able to afford the shipyard, much less likely the entire process. I suggest not only smaller, cheaper dreads, but a lessening in the cost. 65k Iridium is a haul to be reckoned with.

That would be nice for you, but imagine how easy it will be for bigger corps…
You had plenty of time to recruit before these came out, and you can still join a bigger corp.
But if you own a corp things are different… I can’t just throw away something like this. (Esp since I spent irl moneys on it)
