Dreadnought Battle Times are misprinted (US)

Kostyan already tried to tell you guys, but from what he said, you dismissed it as his computer being wrong.

He is not wrong. The dreadnought battle times displayed on the map are wrong for US players.

  1. Battle time displayed is inaccurate by 1 hour (battles occur 1 hour later than displayed time)

  2. I expected the correct time to be displayed

  3. Normal gameplay

  4. N/A

  5. Always displaying incorrect time

  6. Screenshots attached, logs not necessary.

  7. N/A

  8. N/A

  9. N/A

  10. Mountain Standard Time (occurs for all US time zones due to daylight savings time).

It is a known issue, in euro time is the same. It says it is at 19:00 but it is at 20:00 because of summer time. A counter has been requested, that will just make a count back till the next SQ in that sector. IT should use the server time for the tournaments, like the tier 3 one, so it won’t have a problem, no matter where you are.

It would seem the countdown timer would be the way to go. Even within the US they have some states where there is daylight savings and others where there is not. Throw into that the mix of countries who have figured out that jerking their whole populations clocks back and forth is just stupid, and thing can obviously get complicated.

WOuld kill the confusion for everyone.

Yes, I already noticed this issue.

Thanks to OP for forwarding a proper bug report!

Our servers use UTC time. But, one standart functions  of OS, which we use, do return a wrong time, if local PC use summer time.

Ok good, the issue is isolated. Now what is what you are planning to do? Introducing time counter? Fixing the issue with other function that doesn’t return wrong time?
