the developers have to find a way to get destroyers in the game so that they don’t decide a match… i don’t often play T3 because i don’t like the matchmaking there… but i think always when i played the team with more destroyers won!

The thing is, the game is going downhill and uphill in different ways. They have a small dev team and they have to add enough new content while fixing broken stuff simultaneously. Just they’re a little heavy on one or the other and haven’t found a good balance.

Plenty of ways to counter a destroyer i been in pvp battles where a few destroyers and frigates completely shut down the other team. Other than other destroyers interceptors and guards are a destroyers bane along with long range there you have 3 counters to a destroyer not counting another destroyer.
as what to do with destroyers one thing they can do is get rid of the jump ability they have. Destroyers are meant to be slower… having that defeats that
Though you can see when and where they are moving, so you can be waiting at their jump-point to kill them. You can also ram the wormhole to deactivate it. Also all ECM stuns deactivate it as well.
Still it really shouldn’t of been given to destroyers.
Well in that case, you can move to this lovely game called “Fractured Space”. It’s free (or it was when I got it) and Es like destroyer conflict just without wormholes. ^^
