Dont mean to be rude but What. The. HELL?!!!!

I’ll be brief since im absolutely furious right now, so here we go.

What.

Is.

Your.

Malfunction.?

Seriously. What the hell, i started playing this awesomely epic game four days ago and from that first day I knew this was going to be amazing. Then I come back two days later and score a single victory. A single. Victory. Out of Twenty. Im not joking, i sat at my computer for like two hours straight and then for half an hour later and not one victory. Not a single. Nin. Nevienu. Ninguno. ни один. Geen. Acun. None. And dont even get me started on today! Oh nonononono no. No. Just… no. My victory percentage has dropped to 0.64 from like 90 or whatever it was when i just started.

When Im the top player of a game that was lost in under three minutes that means something went to hell very fast.

This is… no…Just no. Fix something or im uninstalling this beauty of a game and condemning all your souls to Tartarus. Thank you.

So you lost 19 games and you’re raging here? I don’t see how we or any moderator or developer can help you with this issue.

Everyone has bad days occasionally, today you seem to be having one.

Well… you can’t come into a game and expect to be a pro at it immediately, right? Even if you’re a really good pilot, this is a team game. You’re in a training tier so one can logically expect to have new and inexperienced players as teammates.

I’ll be brief since im absolutely furious right now, so here we go.

I think that your main problem stands in between the chair and the keyboard.

You can humbly request advice to other fellow players but you are in a bad position to demand anything with that stats and behaviour.

If you want to give up or to keep blaming others for your faults, then uninstall. It’s your loss.

If you want to grow up and accept that you can improve and make your stats better, then request for advice and we can help you.

If you want the game to hold your hand to the top of the rankings, go somewhere else.

Raging will get you nowhere, that’s for sure. Bad teams happens, all the time, you have to deal with it and still give your best to try and keep a good performance. Sometimes you can even help that “bad” team and achieve a victory, but it takes playing for the objectives, and writing to your teammates (with respect) asking them to come with you and help you.

Or you can squad up, it’s easier to turn the tide of the battle if you fight side by side with a trustworthy partner, or 2 of them.

In the end, you can always uninstall this and go play a single-player game, because in every MMO you’ll find good players, regular players and bad players.

You cannot expect to win every battle you enter. As for a 20 loss streak, while it can happen and be a royal pain, try to learn as much as you can from it. Were you doing the exact same thing over and over? Was the team not working together? Were people playing the objective or not? Was there anything you could do, and if so, what?

I can understand that such a loss streak can make you very upset. Learn what you can from this experience, ask for help. Find a few people you can squad with and have fun. This is just a game. Kick back, have a laugh. Don’t take thing too seriously. I look forward to seeing you in battle.

Solution: Queue in squads.

This bit made me chuckle…

Tnx for that.

I know how You feel. Getting better gear and finding proper setup for your ships helps here. Alot. Making a good selection of what you bring into match is also important. Oh how many times I cursed people with 2 guards and 2 snipers in their layout.

Matchmaking system is… lacking, to put it mildly. I have a small collection of screenshots with some really, really dumb xxxx that happens cose of mm. It happens…, as they say.

Playing as many matches as possible is the key, actually. Cose then You get to know whats what, you get the gear, and good setups, and even then there will be some matches You can’t do much in. ALOT of variables in this game, alot of stuff to try out, and abundance of selfcontrol not to break yet another keyboard.

This is what happens when new players hit that point where the game stops sheltering them from the +/- 1/2 mixed matchmaking and throws them to the wolves.

The game decided you had graduated from newbie to soldier. So it stopped pitting you against other newbie opponents and put you in a real match with T2/3 pilots. I used to be top pilot in T1 matches before mixed tiers. As soon as I hit my first T2 match, my ranking fell sharply. The only difference here is that you didn’t get to choose when to graduate.

While I hate mixed tier matchmaking, it is unfortunately necessary, as we don’t have the player population needed to isolate tiers and keep them interesting. I’ll refrain from beating a dead horse on why we lost most of that playerbase…

I understand you (asuming you are not one of those that are sometimes on my team, and completely ignore the objectives and keep trying to kill the captain alone or carrying the bomb to the furthest station instead of the neares or if you are that kind of interceptor that loves to Thud! or if you are that guy with a 20k surv guard with nothing fitted or if you are the dude flying and engeneer without heal for team or if you are a lone charger, or if you are the kinda guy that sees an int crushing your engie and you ignore) it is hard to endure a defeat streak when you try your best, to carry the team and even so doesnt win.

I agree with you, but i also disagree. Sure, if i know that im flying with people that know what to do, such as if i flew with some dudes from NASA, WPK, ESB that i know they are doing their best i would be the most polite person in the world, but that is not necessary, because if i am flying with good persons/pilots they already know what needs to be done, they know that in beacon hunt one must go to the other beacon before the timer of the current ends, thus eliminating the need to asses a problem to them. But when typing to other players become necessary it is usually because they are brain-dead pilots that sometimes doesnt even know how to read, and with those i noticed that yelling (CAPITAL LETTERS) and cursing work better, since noone tends to notice other things in chat, only when you poke their pride sometimes they do what is told and sometimes we manage to turn the tide and win. So, basically, with brain-dead pilot/zombies yelling and cursing seems to work slightly better.

Or you can squad up, it’s easier to turn the tide of the battle if you fight side by side with a trustworthy partner, or 2 of them.

Rarely had the oportunity to fly in a good 3-man or 4-man squad that everyone could pull their weight, but i’ve been fked by the MM sometimes with that equal squads in each side. On my side 4 dudes from a random corp all with 1000 or less in rating, against a 4-man wpk squad, or NASA squad, or some of those with some ESB in the middle. My point being, if 2 low skilled pilots squad up, it will only get worse for them with this wicked MM we have now.

In the end, you can always uninstall this and go play a single-player game, because in every MMO you’ll find good players, regular players and bad players.

More like an ocean of bad players, some algae of regulars and some pearls of good ones.

All in all, raging against the RNG is useless. Rage against the system then, but as SoldiersofFortune said, it is like beating a dead horse. I created another post on bug reports regarding the MM, but i dont see much future there too.

My advice, if you run into a bad luck streak, log out, wait 1 hour and come back, maybe things will be better. HEHHEHEHE It is what i do sometimes.

I frequently run a round of a few matches, and alt-tab for 10-15 minutes.  Sometimes it’s just to get a different mix of players, no other reason.  Since match sizes have gone down, I’m starting to notice the “algae” in the game.  Most of the pearls have joined a “protoss” corp, and the rest are recognizable enough.

Some pilots pay attention to chat I believe, but the game discourages it by default.  I fear the trend of discouraging team communication outside of teamspeak.

I also went 0/12 in one day too. Every queue was on a russian server and the lag made participating impossible. I USED to get American servers, but recently they seem not to exist. Now the game is unplayable.
