Does energy gain from damage work with command shields?

There’s an item and an implant that give you energy based on a percent of damage done to your shield. Will they work when you have the command fighter shield up or do they only work on normal shields?

Darn! I was going to load all my slots with those things and get the implant and be almost invincible. >.< Thanks for the answer. I guess I’ll get the +40% max energy implant instead.

You are not taking damage with diffusion active…

Yes because your normal shield is not taking damage during diffusion shield time, it has no effect during it.

You can also use the rank 7 implant which will give you energy if your normal shields get hit so that you can have full diffusion shield. But again it has no effect during the diffusion shield time.
