In most of the maps in invasion there are stations.
Can you make these dockable so you don’t always have to travel to your home base which sometimes takes a long time (very boring)
It’s not supose to be a new home base but just a stop-by where you can refill or buy new ammo, sell your loot, … change your modules.
Maybe it’s possible you can pick up some extra local missions for extra credits, or hunt down pirates (wanted list) (restricted to current map, or closeby)
Restrict those bases to your current ship (no other ship allowed, you can’t buy or switch ships there only at your main base).
As the game develops, it adds new content, this might be a very good idea, but so far, I do not see it.
Why? Because you can self-destruct and lose nothing than just a small portion of your credits, even if the objective specifies that you need to return to “home base”.
There is no penalty for failure of any kind and no consequences.
In the future, I hope to see something like that and fully functional Pirate Faction as well, like Fort Muerto.
Also, there should be more areas of Unknown Space, not just Precursors.
Not a bad idea, seeing how we have drones which take our stuff back home for next to nothing we could be able to dock at our allied stations, it would be a neat feature.
So + 1 from me.
If the suggestion was, bring back the drones you removed I would have given it a +2 XD.
I’d actually like to see this happen, but for them to be termed as Faction Stations (like Wardens, Legions, Vanguards, etc.), where you would only be able to remain there for a limited amount of time, whereafter you will be transported to the main docks if the time is exceeded. Ships can also be changed for the price of some credits (or GS) as a ship transfer to the faction station to be launched from. You can undock from this dock if still within the time, so you could launch directly into deep space with a full fuel tank once more sectors are added then, so it’d be like a rest-stop.
IMO Blowing up your ship because youre done farming is the stupidest thing, removing all immersion from invasion, which is the biggest thing it has going for it right now. Things that would make invasion a smoother and more immersive experience:
Just stack Fuel around the multitude of local zone stations instead of there being a destroyed transport in the exact same spot.
Add more express to home station gates
CREDIT purchasable hull repairs at the local zone stations: Now other ships besides tacklers, recons and t5s have a shot in hell.

It’s the fastest way to go do something else when you’re not obligated to return to station. Even with expensive repair costs, I’m just too lazy to care. If I’m flying premium I don’t even have repair costs.
Sure, that’d help station hopping for T4+ players. That’s all.

On a side note, perhaps make it so different corporations can control different stations? And a suggestion for a name would be station arctic. you could put it in ice belt too!
