Everything activates immediately (there might be short few minutes delay). The main question you ask is pretty good, but answer depends on many factors.
- The most expensive ones give most value compared to the money you spend.
Money is hardest in end content, you can fly with (some) weaker modules.
- “Artifact scanner” gives one more extra artifact in the end looting. It does add up eventually.
It is not godly, but the DLC it gomes with is not expensive especially when in sale.
- All permanent bonuses are extremely good in long run (add up eventually)
My personal priority is: money bonus > loyalty bonus > synergy bonus.
- Ships are more or less balanced, so no use to look at them too closely, BUT premium ships are good for grinding money and they do add up. T3 is better than T2. Mercenary packs have better ships in general than pirate packs (performance vise).
- GS is good and maybe the biggest point, as you can use it for many, many things inside the game.
My personal list, which pack gives the most:
1. Star Conflict Pirate Pack — Dead man’s chest
Permanent credit reward bonus +10%, 15000 GS, A month of Premium subscription. The 3x ships are medicore, but OK for money grinding.
2. Star Conflict Mercenary Pack — Elite Pilot
25,000 gold standards, Permanent 10% bonus to loyalty and ships synergy gain, 4x ships, which are imo great even the T2 ones. More storage is OK too if lacking.
3. Star Conflict Mercenary Pack — Soldier of Fortune
«Artifact scanner» => get module upgrades faster, 3500 galactic standards, A permament +10% Loyalty gain bonus.
4. Star Conflict Pirate Pack — Jolly Roger
Permanent credit reward bonus +10%, 10000 gold standards, Two weeks of Premium subscription. 2x ships that seem OK.
5. Star Conflict Mercenary Pack — Galaxy Explorer
10000 GS, Permanent 10% bonus to loyalty & ships synergy gain, 2x OK ships and warehouse space.
6. Star Conflict Pirate Pack — Corsair
5000 gold standards, A week of Premium subscription. 1x ship in low tier.
