reputation was used to rank up your main faction. now that that no longer applies, the fair thing to do on their end is replace it with the new thing that does ie. synergy
GS compensation is in order as well because it wasn’t addressed at patch release and required a community manager to actually forward the oversight.
I might just add that the replaced value MUST be higher than what it was before.
Reputation used to unlock multiple ships within a faction. Synergy only unlocks ONE ship at a time hence
+10% Reputation =/= +10% Synergy
I say +30% would be a closer exchange rate between the two
Here here Kine. Not just an increase in Synergy gained, but also the ability to transfer Synergy to Free Synergy on your Premium Ships (without having to pay Gold Standards). I should not be asked to pay more real life money when I have already spent that up front. I spent money on the DLC packs to progress a system that now no longer exists. Gold Standards prior to this patch were used for what:
-
Premium licenses
-
Booster mods
-
Stickers
-
Premium Ships
-
Increased chance at looting
-
Premium weapons, mods, passives, etc.
-
4th hangar slot
-
Starting a Corporation
Now you are adding another variable which is Synergy transfer. Seems to me that you should either be offering more Gold Standards in those packs, or you should be reimbursing people a fixed amount of Gold Standards to compensate for this offset. By adding a new variable for which Gold Standards are to be used, you have diminished that value of Gold Standards in those packs, and inflated the value of Gold in the economy.
