Disintegrator Cartridges

It would be cool if there was a passive mod or alternative specmod for Disint LRF’s that changed the specmod to have cartridges. Like instead of one shot recharging, the shot recharge would be slower by a few seconds, but build up charges to 3-5 shots or so. Then you can fire the charges with 1-second intervals or some interval like that. But the charges will take at least 50% longer to charge up versus the standard model.

Some limitation would be that successive hits deal less damage but slow healing or something. Idk. First hit matters most, then followup hits will only deal 90-60% of original dmg.

 

Or it could scale like all other weapons. Inties and fighters take 100% dmg, and frigates take 150%, and destros take 200%.

Every time something gets changed on lrfs it’s always the small ships that get obliterated into oblivion soon after soo i doubt this suggestion would happen… 

We will see what the Elly LRF will have, remote controlled drones, laser that fires only from the front of the ship and so on, I’m looking forward to see how you can obliterate the Cruiser with that.
