Disconnect -> Safe Log out?

When a players internet cuts out, your ship self destructs automatically and upon your return you end up in the hanger. Would it not be a good idea to change auto “self destructing” to auto “safe logout”? The cool down will still occur like manually going to the menu to safe logout, that way if you try and alf+f4 to save your skin, it can still be interrupted by the person attacking you. this way if you are travelling somewhere and your internet cuts out you have a chance to resume where you were on your journey when you reconnect

yep, you would expect that it works that way. had suggested the same thing before already, they should make it so.

i was first one to report this, it never occured after that.

 

when did this occur?

 

also safe logout is only used in invasion. this is not about invasion is it? should be fixed in pvp already.
