Disconnect during download

Hi,

 

I just tried downloading Star Conflict for the first time. Whenever I start the launcher it works fine for a few seconds and then my internet gets disconnected.

All other devices connected to the same router are also affected. Only unplugging the router for a few seconds gets the internet connection going again.

 

I have a FRITZ!Box 7170 as router.

 

I checked the “My Documents/My Games/Star Conflict/Logs” but the Star Conflict Folder does not exist.

 

On a side note, I had similar disconnection problems with the Diablo 3 launcher until I disabled the p2p functionality. Maybe this helps. 

 

Anyone any ideas?

EDIT: After browsing through the forum I tried to install Star Conflict not into /Program Files (x86)/ but into a different folder. No success.

had the same issue.

 

After trying differrent things it work for me with following router settings change:

 

  • disable auto disconnet ( ~all 24h )

 

  • change router settings from performance more to stability
