I have a lot of Experimentals in T3 that move to T4 or higher. Will I lose my hard earned Experimentals or be recompensed in some way? 

 

Also, PLEASE, remember to update the Dev log on the main website. So at least we know where we currently stand. Thanks!

They said earlier they were mixed with ship mods.

 

One more thing that popped in my mind: what’s gonna happen with the ship tree? As far as i’ve read till now, all my ships will suddenly lose their entire core build logic.

you’re gonna need it from all the expected rage, rants, and arguments on these, in my opinion, a positive step in the right direction.

 

What I can say is that this makes my interceptors FASTER in the federation, as I stack for speed and damage. BUT, other factions will have their strength and weaknesses more pronounced. I like it.

Simple and to the point and NO loss of modules. Please consider this. 

Essentially, passive mods and ship mods are no longer put in different categories (they were essentially the same thing with a different label) and the concept used in ship mods where each have their own slot has been expanded to the passive mod system.

 

It’s not a ‘dumbing down’ but rather a change of how these modules are presented in the UI. I find it much clearer, and it allows for a much more fine-tuned balancing of each ship vs. the previous “passive slot contains any of this huge array of modules” mechanic. It allows the devs to create more of a difference between the ships of the various factions.

I think Evil had a good point there with an optometrist visit

Styx has 7 passive modules total (3 passives +4 ship modifiers), on a screenshot you clearly see 7 passive modules

Anaconda has 6 modules (2 passives+4 ship mods) and here we are again, looking at the screenshot - voala 6 total passive modules.

 

Will it affect builds? For sure!

How will it affect it? Have to see what modules go into what slots and how modules have changed as well, but claiming that its dumbing down the gameplay at this stage is not wise, is it?

T3 experimentals should be reimbursed like last time, not moved up a tier. Otherwise you greatly increase the amount of experimentals in circulation in T4, widening the gap to those that come after yet again.

I got 50 experimentals, I am fearing for their lives and my sanity…

I am short of credits as is, I don’t think I’ll be able to refit all my ships with this amount of changes…Can’t you refund all modules that are changed in stats(Credits if mk1-3) and in tier(Credits if mk1-3, GS if experimental)?

 

I will wait till the update before giving feedback, since the current shown system looks weird with the shown info, and I don’t want to give feedback on a wrong impression.

The modules will be tweaked a bit, some of them (in spoiler) will be changed a bit more than the others. But basically yes, different ships will have different perks. 

 

The patch will most probably come out this week at a usual time.

Also, please unequip illegal items first, and only sell those which are completely gone!

Have to wait until this comes out, but having shield specific slot means I can install the old shield specific modules there, or any passive?

 

Does this mean, we can install only passives in all slots? Can I still put in Offensive Passives into e.g. the engine upgrades? This bears too many questions and too many fears oh joyful terror.
