In today’s article we would like to tell you about the upcoming update for corporations. In the near future we plan to introduce corporate logos, so all the corporations fighting for sectors and holding places in the corporate rating will now have a sign! This is the next step in the evolution of corporations in Star Conflict and we are pleased that our players will now be able to announce their victories this way too!
So, after installing this update, all corporations will see a default logo that can be replaced at will by a new one!
In the corporation menu you will see a new button, by pressing which you’ll be able to choose a new emblem from a list!
Where will the pilots be able to see the logo of the corporation after the introduction of this feature in the game?
In corporation ranking
In corporation window
In sector conquest
That’s right — now all captured sectors will be marked with an emblem of the corporation that holds that space. And of course, since it’s content for corporations, a change of corporate logo will be cost Iridium!
As you can see, our pilots will soon get a new option for their corporations, and at the end of today’s article we would like to announce something exciting: the leaders of all the interested corporations can send us their corporate badges so that we could introduce them into the game! Thus corporations will be able to choose not only the default icons, but also the unique ones! More detailed terms and conditions of this promotion can be found by clicking [this link](< base_url >/index.php?/topic/21266-event-add-your-own-corporate-logo/)!
Better late than never, heh? Well, at least now it’ll be easier to recognise other corps on the Sector Conquest map. However, I hope the icons only show up when you mouse-over the map instead of all the time…

They will be on the sector map all the time, but when sector is not highlighted by the cursor, the emblem will fade.
Next hopefully would be to make sector conquest not so based on only number of (bad) players - and give more weight to quality of the players involved.
If a smaller group of excellent players is unable to get a sector, the system is largely meaningless.
The same applies to the in-game PvP rankings, which are completely biased towards bad players - as my in-depth documentation and maths have proven.
For those unaware this is the summary: There currently is a 800% faster gain of points for bad players - only 15% win needed for bad players to make a positive score contribution, 75% for good players to even break even… Having better players in a corporation currently hurts your rankings.
This is not secret information - you can work this out with some fairly basic math by looking at the scoring information displayed in the game and then drawing some tables/graphs in Excel which bear in mind point-decay over time and relative contributions per hour.
Antibus, there will be possible to make that logo a sticker for all the members of the corp? That would be nice, unless you make us pay too for that xD

Should be free, as making a corp is expensive already.

Thats why I made him that question I would like to hace a sticker from NASA so much, but I wouldnt find fair to pay for it… the leader already paid a huge amount of gs to found the corp

To help residente, here is an accurate translation in english. (it has to mentioned twice to signify how much I agree with him.)
“That is why I made the question, regarding stickers. I would love to have a NASA sticker very much included, but I would find it unfair for corporation members to pay for it separately, especially when the leader already has paid a large amount of GS to found the corp.”
