holy sh*t no. in fact i hope they finally change beacon cap in a way, that aura weapons do not interrupt anymore, neither black hole, nor vigi beam effect, nor cloud farts.
people should move to the beacon to cap and uncap.
and aura damage weapons would also be easier to implement if they would not interrupt general gameplay mechanics.
the pulsar, jerri torps, or any other direct aura are fine like that.
flying around the beacon with a ceptor and kissing all ships close with your primary gun with short bursts - that should be the most viable option for beacon denial.
