Bug report: (Destroyers only, Open Space only - Emptied the Ammunition and Missiles slot under certain conditions.)
What happened?
Ammunition and Missiles slot is not permanently applied in Open Space on Destroyers.
If you self-destruct or die, and then use a Duplicator to revive yourself, your ship will reappear.
However, soon after you will quick travel or quick-jump, or use regular travel method, like a warp gate, you will lose any current bonus on your main weapons, same goes for the missile slot.
What should have happened?
The ammunition and missiles slot should have still kept their active bonus to weapons and Heavy Repair Drone 17 or Static Shield 17 on a Rank 14 Destroyer, even when using a Duplicator.
How to replicate this bug?
- Use any Destroyer - Rank 8, 11 or 14. (Recommended: Rank 14 Destroyer)
- Equip the Ammunition and Missile slot. (My case: Halo Launcher 17 (EM weapon) with a Booster Circuit and a Heavy Repair Drone 17.)
- Undock to Open Space. (My case: Station Mendes-IX; Jericho sector.)
- Self-Destruct, use a Duplicator to revive, then travel to the Stripped Deposits warp gate or quick travel to Stripped Deposits. (This will trigger a bug as described.)
or:
- Travel to the Stripped Deposits warp gate, then self-destruct, use a Duplicator to revive, then quick travel to Mendes-IX. (This will trigger a bug as described.)
or:
- Travel to the Stripped Deposits warp gate, then self-destruct, use a Duplicator to revive, then use the warp gate to travel back to Mendes-IX. (This will trigger a bug as described.)
Video example: (As you can see here, ammunition speed is reduced by 20% because the ammo booster is gone. Same goes for the secondary slot, Heavy Repair Drones.)
