Defiler is inviolate

I have heard rumors of one team getting him down to 40%, but I’ve never personally seen anything more than 85%. The dreadnaught himself is balanced, and could actually use a buff, but the only reason teams keep dying is because of those d*** Matter Inverters. Everything was all nice and dandy, then comes along two little structures that can own you through anything at any range in 3 seconds. This needs some tweaking, majorly. Any other issues may be posted here.

Will have to try it with a team of my elite friends lol. Message me if you want in.

It is difficult…of course the top player squads will be able to do it fine but random wing of pilots in all sorts of ships of varying strength and upgrade level, taking the tank route, trying to dodge missile and shoot from 7k etc just results in a lot of explosions.

Already killed by ESB and NOVA. All ESB runs were on livestream untill firstkill.

ok, ok, deleted  No spoilers

SPOILERS!

thanks, give our part of the world at least a chance to try for ourselves

Or how about you share the information and people who want to do it themselves can just not read the information.

Spoonfeeding is bad!

Says who? Some of us don’t enjoy facing ‘challenges’ when the rules aren’t clear and we’re expected to fumble to the answer by accident.

People don’t complain when people come here asking for ship builds or advice on where to farm Invasion resources, so how is this any different?

And that would be ok, as long as these “don’t enjoy facing ‘challenges’” realise that they are not skilled players in this game and don’t go around giving advices on balancing interactions and gameplay changes.

Funny, you seem to be shooting down your own arguments here.

When people come here saying ‘styx is too weak!’ The veterans are quick to point out the poster just doesn’t know how to build and fly the ship. They then offer proper builds and tactics to prove the poster is wrong.

People are complaining the Defiler is too hard. No evidence to the contrary exists. Ergo, it is too hard.

If you have evidence it is fine as is, then put up or shut up.

Also, don’t misquote me. The correct quotation is ’ “challenges” when the rules aren’t clear.’ Challenge when the rules ARE clear is fine.

It has been completed on a first available cycle, and then by another group on a 2d cycle. Meaning for a “top organized content” it is way to easy.

All tactics out the window, too easy or too hard is a matter of your team bringing enough duplicator kits. If everyone keeps reviving you can’t lose. When pirates was first introduced it took a while before anyone finished it and everyone said it couldn’t be done… Not only can it be done its one of the fastest to do. The true test to this one is, can it be done without using any duplicators?

i think we used maybe 10 (the whole team, not each)

yeah because, well, it was beaten by two teams known for having lots of pilots with end-game equipment, it must be too easy. o_O

anyway, in any mmo-rpg, if you still need to compare it to it, since SC isn’t one (in the sense of the compared ones which offer “raids”), beating top organized content in the first cycle is not an exception, it’s usually the rule.

except, if the game is dead in the water or the content is really hard to reach, or the game is fresh.

it’s hard, it needs teamwork. the inverter is a bit over the top, otherwise, fun, for a pve.

Ok. But can you explain, why this event was completed by 10 minutes faster than in the first kill? If people can do it 10 minutes faster than before it is also doable with worse equipment.

L2play people. What is wrong with you?
