Defiler - Double Music Bug

Bug report:

 

Today I played Spec Ops: Defiler, Rank 13-15.

After the match finished and the looting screen appeared, double music started to play.

It seems that looting screen victory music starts to play, but fails to end previous Defiler theme music.

After looting screen music ends, it will continue to play in hangar, when you will also hear hangar music theme, music track depends in what hangar you’re in.

The same counts for the Spec Ops destroyer so it seems an very common bug.

Currently the onliest solution is to either turn the music off completly or close the game and restart again to get rid of it. Why it loops however seems an big mystery cus it only appears for the Spec Ops rounds while all other musics stop when the victory theme plays.

Yea, it’s common, got reported many times and is well over 4 months old.

Just start Spec Ops, win and get in 3 of 5 cases this bug.
Funny thing: This bug doesn’t occur a second time, so starting additional rounds, winning them and looting doesn’t trigger multiple buts of this time.

Why this occur? I don’t have a clue, could this be a soundbug from the sounddevice(hardware/driver related) or a server-client problem. Or just a clientproblem.

Just to ask strange things:

What is your testenvironment(PCspecs/driver statuses etc.)?
Have you tried it on external pcs/laptop?

I think I had figured it out now.

 

Special Operation - Destroyer starts (music enabled).

A music track is nearing its end, but when it ends, it’s not terminated, it continues, when another Raid music starts.

I am not sure if sometimes two same kinds of music can start on top of each other, I think yes, but sometimes it gets changed.

This process can be multiplied if repeated. However, it happens 7/10 times, not every time.

We also got huge lag, but the game did not detect it, at least not on my side. TheDarkMatter had over 8000 ping.
