Damage Boost in PvE & Co-op for Suppressors

First, let me start off with an agreement for the damage increase for PvP , there were significant problems with tankiness on the vigilant sitting at beacons for example and a lot of other stuff. 

Secondly, I highly disagree that the damage boost(300% <1000m) needs to be applied to PvE as well, you have turtles, on your rear in “Defence Contract” and “Fire Support” with shields that make it easy to hit with explosive weapons such as Halo, but guess what? Trying to kill them yourselves causes you to take about 15,000 damage per hit, because of the damage boost. On top of their damage, which is about 11,000 with 30% kinetic resistance. Or another issue is Cyber Reapers in “Ariadne’s Thread” on the two beacons, the spawn are already near the capture point and having a chance to get waves of these frigates… you can say goodbye to your dessy. There are ways around this but let’s be real, most of the time you get games with people who don’t know how to and you’re stuck. 

The issue with Co-op is aimbot with beam cannons and assault railguns, leading again you to do everything as most of the time you don’t have a coordinated team. 

At the very LEAST I would be happy with no self-damage boost. Fire photon/halo all you want and take the damage you deal Ex) 4000 FLAT nothing else. 

I’d like to hear it from a developer as well what the real reason it’s in PvE/Co-op [@CinnamonFake](< base_url >/index.php?/profile/257821-cinnamonfake/)

I didn’t vote because I don’t understand the questions  … but  I AGREE 100% with the self damage in any mode  you have station protection in open space to not take self damage  why does it even exist at all ? I remember when you could kill your own team members in fire support with a Jericho LRF when they stopped the cruiser from spawning … that was taken out in one patch  and almost a year later they made the cruiser spawn point a death trap to stop players from hijacking the cruiser  now you get teleported to your spawn point  … point is  50% of the main weapons don’t deal self damage  why do the other 50% deal hella self damage ??? it makes no sense why you damage yourself and can’t damage your team members  ??? I vote  to REMOVE ALL SELF DAMAGE from the game in every mode . rather than a damage boost for pve and co-op why not a resistance boost … 150 all resistance boost hull and shield  … that way you could tank more than 3 hits or  just give the AI normal weapons that the players are forced to play with rather than rank 8 guards using fighter weapons that do 45,000 damage per shot , in rank 15 pve missions  or turtles (guards) with 300 strafe  300 turn and 700 speed and a hybrid interceptor weapon  or  give a mine option to every ship class  even destroyers  so they can deal with turtles

The voting is simple; do you agree with the damage boost of 300% in PvE and Co-op and do you want it removed forever or just nerfed to 100/25%

Thanks for agreeing with the self damage. It’s a problem, cant photon anything, deals ton’s of damage close range, cant hide and halo, damages myself. Screw personal damage, Coil Mortar self damage   was removed now take it from dessy halo/photon and tempest!

I see now  your talking about the AI insane damage … yes  the jump from rank 10 to rank 11 is just insane … i do fine in the cruiser matches with a Kaken and the rest I take a Tyrant now used to take a Ronin … but for all the new players trying to level a rank 11 what ever forces me to do the whole fcking match solo because they just can’t do it at rank 11    but the worst thing is that the difference in loot and reward from 10-11 is literally 5% more
