Daily login reward...ish

Remember a year ago, when the first moon race started? and the patch notes? they said that the daily login reward would be unavailable DURING  the moon race.

 

So, emphasis on the word DURING , it’s been a year and a half and the daily login rewards haven’t returned. Will they come back some time or was it just another  lie?

There’s a loading tip about a daily reward, but I just assumed that was like the ‘ships can only go 700km/s max’ tip, a long unupdated relic.
