-I know that most of you may or may not know what I’m talking about but the Cyber Beacons, you know.those green and black things that look like this:
-The problem is that,whenever you get a assignment or a errand to scan them,the range of that is so low you have to stick to them like your life depends on it,I would say that it would be a good idea to increase its interaction range by 100-150 meters to avoid the annoying collision damage.
-This is not a bug,its a “feature” so no need for a bug report,that’s why this topic is in the suggestion category,I hope you will take this into consideration when you will work on that OS update.

Yeah it’s kind of annoying although on the plus side it makes you hide from bios. On the down side is if you try to mover around it since they came close it is so easy to accidentally move out of range ;p
Finally some understating,with some luck,they will increase the interaction range,all what we have to do is wait,a lot…

They did increase the range for the frigates up to 400m and for the destroyers up to 700m,the fighters and intys are fine.

What you are refering to is the loot range, but not the scanning range needed in/for missions.
That remain the 300m.
Also the alien space has the same issue as the beacon, like 10m of space tops to scan it like insane.
I suggest you to make a bug report from it and then, it could be fixed. 
But before check the current range out. Icreased by 100m.
