Custom Match - Corp Dread Training Battles

What if we created a mini “challenge another corp” gamemode which can be played at any time of the day? For example:

-a corp challenges another one to a fight

-the other corp accepts

-both corps stake a certain amount of iridium

-a percentage is taken by the system as a fee

-the corps send their pilots into the custom room, as usual, except that it is limited to 8 pilots per corp, and only from the two corps in the challenge (no recruiting mercenaries from other corps)

-they fight

-the winner takes home all the iridium remaining after the fee

This could be used for inter-corp challenges, but also for low-stake friendly matches. The advantages are:

-it would make custom matches possible

-it would still be limited to corps

-it would allow corps to train if they have enough players to form two wings

-it would NOT replace the sector capturing with fixed time zones since the incentives are different

-the system could subsequently be used for inter-corp tournaments

Big Idea and I support this.

My prayers are being answered, yes!

Now THIS is a good idea I can get behind. +3.

Should I make a new thread about it? It is kindof a different idea than just a custom battle?

Only sort of. I’d do it anyways, looks like this thread is doomed to obscurity.

do eet.

this thread kinda died off.

come on…I usually need a week to read the forum as I am off time by time and this is volunterring work for me

So a minor delay can happen

This idea is kind of great - let me forward

Good day! now we have a set of different ideas how to evolve the corporation battles and yours one for sure is worth being one of them. it is interesting thank u for it. our team will discuss it.

should keep us posted with little spoilers here and there, giving us a very rough idea so we can have some feeling of what to expect instead of being totally surprised (and for some players totally disapointed) when it’s released without any prior information outside of the suggestion.
