Ohgod, camber tilting. That is just so godamned idiotic…
You know that camber is just one of many options, yeah? You can create a low-rider, a street dragster, a 22" donk, a classic JDM, or a hot rod. The possibilities are endless.
Also, the only car customization scene that I consider idiotic is bosozoku because those cars have pretty much lost most of their functionality. I try very hard not to hate on other’s preferences.
Well… for you see, Bosozoku is an art. When those young pseudo-yakuza boys modified their cars, they weren’t even thinking about racing. Then, some guys started racing with a need tuning style, called Kyusha, using more race spec inspired parts. Also, there’s a mid-level style called Grachan. Something like: Bosozku->Grachan->Kyusha. In my opinion, I would never modified a car in a Bosozoku style, yet I would love to own an S30Z Kyusha inspired.
I’m intrigued. Can you post an example of each one?
Bosozoku: big spoilers everywhere, uber-wide bodykit, lowered and usually stock engine
Grachan: usually big cars, 4-doors, moderately wide, something for hang out, events, etc
Kyusha: more race-inspired cars, highly modified engines, functional wide body kit and suspension, with little front and rear spoilers
If you are interested in this kind of world, in deep 80’s, there’s a well-know manga called Shakotan Boogie, featuring all this kind of styles. There’s also a movie yet impossible to find.
Here is my ‘‘slightly’’ modified BMW, its a long project tho and its not even near done yet. Last summer I bought the mag + tire (19’) and this summer I changed the whole brake system to add new caliper, drilled rotor and ceramic brake pad. Next summer Ill change the exhaust system and add the body kit ! I just took the picture so the car is a bit dirty lol
Yeah, the VIP Style. Here some people call it the “mafia” style. Also, if you are looking a cool wide body for a BMW I think the best one is the Liberty Walk kit. Just gorgeous.
