Custom Battles: Combat Recon - ability to select the Captain from the players' list directly

When creating custom matches, Combat Recon option scenario, when you’re adding players on the list should have an extra ability to select both Captains manually.

 

Option 1: Right click on player’s name and mark the person as the Captain.

 

Option 2: Blue And Red skulls are visible on both teams. Selecting one for each, (lobby creator) can already assign who will be the Captain on both teams.

 

Why?

When we do training exercises, sometimes we want a specific person to be the Captain, not just random top-3 players with the highest hidden rating.

Simple as that. I hope that I am not asking too much.

 

 

Procedure in game is still normal. Even though that we know who will be the Captain now, timer will still only show it at 10 seconds, before the match starts.

Good to know, same approach should be made for Custom Dreadnought Battles.

Make it simple and efficient, like I already suggested it once.

The vote is impossible to implement in our MM system now, lots of technical restrictions. The system now chose one of the best 3 pilots to be captain.

As I mentioned above, this change only apply to Custom Lobby.

And I can guarantee you that the same “technical restriction” in the “normal” MM system will also ably for Combat Recon in Custom Battle

This simple option will probably never be introduced in the near future.
