Why there are no autopilot for larger ship, not interceptor but for fregate, just for maintain course and speed… just aim gun in a fix position

would like to see that for dreadnoghts. Imagine, I dock my little interceptor then mount a stationary turret there and shoot at enemy team.
Althou I do not think this game have the engine for it ? There are many games where one person drives, another shoots, so I will not name names, but this engine on SCon may not allow it.
theres auto speed but you still steer
There is a button in keybinds called Free Aim, if you press it down and move your mouse around, it dosent turn your ship and only move the turrets.
