Anyway, the thing is that you [@xKostyan](< base_url >/index.php?/profile/236074-xkostyan/) and [@niripas](< base_url >/index.php?/profile/244639-niripas/) do not acknowledge this game is underpopulated and lost many players the past time. You are saying the population stayed the same. You try to counteract this by giving the most course conclusion you could have made from the in-game stats. You haven’t studied them in detail to know what you are really talking about. Not only your statistical conclusions are erroneous but common sense is also missing. You don’t see what about all players do see. In addition to what I already concluded about this above, here another two examples:

That is your problem, you are made an assumption and turned it into a belief in your tiny head that this is what we are talking about, while that is not what both of us have said. Hence why niripas tried to explain it to you multiple times, and me pointing out to your reading comprehension problem. Problem is that you refuse to understand a meaning and cling to your personal misjudgments of what niripas or myself say or do.

Hey stig, you may think, read and write all you want, but perceptions dont necessarily match reality, and you are making statements based on perception. None of us here is able to know with certainty if population has increased, maintained or dropped all these years.

Also, this above:

So, immediately tries to get you down. Confirms that he has checked it by giving the result of his research:

And then all of a sudden when I caught you and responded on this it was “just a joke”:

FFS. You REALLY don’t get it. YOUR OWN sources (in game weekly stats and steam charts) are saying that. That’s what I wrote. And did I analyze them fully? Dude, I LIVE by math. I breathe math. Finding patterns is part of my RL job. If you want to call me out, please read first and understand what I am talking about. And that even wasn’t the main problem. So yes - if you really want to dig in …dirt - you wrote that you “just talked to one of the NASA players” well - it happens that I have most of NASA players on my social lists one way or another. “just talked” means “Hey I was talking to him a minute or two ago”, I glanced at who is online and wrote that sentence WITH A SMILE at the end (it means “sure, mate, glad you did it”). Then when you started pushing me about this I really asked the corp if anyone was talked to you that evening. And you made a big case out of that “Niri said something that is mathematically correct, but I feel differently, so he is a disgrace to his GM tag and to this game!”. All in all I can see now, you don’t care about this game, this community. I was trying to help you being heard few times already. Instead I still feel your spit on my face. If that was your aim - congratulations - you achieved something. You made a GM sorry for another try to help a fellow player in making the game better. And you are right - instead of helping people have their opinions heard I’ll just crawl back to my hole, analyzing another few hundred reports. Please don’t answer me - it will take even more of my time that I don’t have much left.

No, I get it very well. You guys seem to not get it. Let me explain: (…)

The population is not in a decline, nor will it increase, it is the same number for years now. The most populated is T3 thus why everything is so focused around it with occasional r10 premium releases to get them going into T4 and later T5. What some of you experience is when a high ranked player leaves and a new one joins = fake decline in population because you don’t notice a newcomer, he has no impact on the game like the high ranked one.

Another issue is the source of information -> Wiki, how do you imagine someone magically progressing if all he knows is one or two modes without even knowing the perks of the modes in more detail or any info at all? There is only a handful of people that can teach to an extent that could replace what a  really good wikipedia page could do.

I will not comment on the rest of that post. It would be a waste of time.

Omg, there we go again.

You mean - I just pointed out that you are spreading false information?. However this one can be verified without higher math. Every information needed you will find [HERE.](< base_url >/index.php?/forum/181-patches-read-only/) Or… is it again “math proves nothing, I FEEL that dessies are nerfed into oblivion”?

And actually I’m helping the game with that. People will read your posts and then will start repeating this nonsense. Will it build a positive or negative emotions amongst players? You are talking about this incredible amounts of time needed to get Ellydium ships. Or destroyers. I just don’t see that - I got my Waz’got in 12 hours game time. And currently have it at max points. With enough resources to build another one if that would be possible. On my alt account I build a Vigilant just flying for the event to gather activators and then 2 days more to get the needed beryllium. So where are those years? I’m averaging less than 100 battles per month, not spending money on containers.

That’s why I would love to see a list what OTHER people think about this game and issues they think need to be  addressed. You pointed out that Cyning will lose against Taikin - well, games in SCL tend to say opposite - it depends who is flying what - I saw Taikin shredded to pieces by Cyning with Skrah on my last session of SCL. You are saying that dessies are worth naught - again proper SCL team will have at least 1 dessie in lineup. However dessies always needed to be babysitted by the rest of the team to prevent them from instant destruction by concentrated close-range fire. Ellydium ships are agile, sure, but they are fragile. Trex MkII with mortars will shred Taikin trying to close on him, Spark will hold Taikin in his Tilith beam range even after Taikin will make 2 jumps, not to mention Jaguar that can be build for Taikin hunting.

You are saying that only players  that pay a lot (for what?!) can be at the top - I checked the ranking - top player in weekly pvp doesn’t even have a prem license! OTOH I haven’t seen DrDeath or HowlingWolf in the top pvp rating (no offence guys). And were are the vets? Usually playing SCL and sectors, because there you can fully enjoy possibilities of the endgame content and flying fully coordinated wing (which was actually a point of making those modes as people were complaining that vets shred new pilots in normal PvP too much).

I’m helping other players if they will ask for help. I will help them with counters, builds, methods of obtaining needed resources. I will help them even in the game play. I cannot help a person if that person is saying that black is white, even if it’s labelled “black”.

Listen, are you telling me that you got 36 beryllium rods in 2 days?

Of course, that’s not possible, if you haven’t had a stockpile of beryllium in your warehouse from before.

2 primary reasons, why this game deserves a negative review right now:

  • cap limit - it must be set much higher, when you wouldn’t be bothered by it (I am getting my monocrystals destroyed every day, and I can’t sell them.)

  • ultra rare drop - ‘Instruction nanoprojectors’ that should become a common drop, like all other drops (those won’t drop for me, then it’s only ‘Pay to Advance’ option. - P2W

If this won’t be changed, then this game deserves all the bashing it can get! Grindwall, now Paywall. F*ck it!

I won’t play to lose resources, just because nobody will buy them off me, or if I will be unable to spend them. Hell, no!

Also, you claim that you got all resources needed for a Vigilant destroyer, without buying a single Store container?

No, absolutely not :). I was flying daily missions for activators, I had 7 enriched beryllium rods when the event started. After I got the required number of activators I had 32 enriched beryllium. In two more days I got remaining 4 (1 from open space, 5 impure ones from the daily login, 1 enriched from the mission drop and the 15 left from flying R11s).

My account must be cursed, then. Are you sure that you’re not being blessed by RNGesus?

Me? Blessed? You know me. I think I have the worst drop rate possible ![:)](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/001j.png “:)”)  Maybe they increased the drop rate for the dessie event - dunno. I just squeeze the drop patterns to the last drop ![:D](<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/006j.png “:D”)

I have to say if you were able to grind that in the time said, your drop rates must be very high. Most of us dont get that lucky.

Explain this drop pattern to us please. Maybe if we understand what is going on, we can improve our “luck”

I used to give out 2-3 electrum plates in one day if i had nothing else to do than to stroll OS, not to mention the vast resources i gave away like berylium and neodium. Neodium to me is like dirt now, you can find it anywhere honestly, gave out enriched berilium and a couple electrum ores just today to a random player that happened to be in general chat. If we would talk all subjectively, OS alone even without a scanner can get you a lot more than other modes but you have to have the know-how or me to assist…
