I bought 11 Contraband Containers.
I got multiple ammunition types. No weapons.
These item are not in the list, this is the list that appears on my 1.4.0c.99607 game client:

This is a bug.
Make a [correct bug report](< base_url >/index.php?/topic/25328-how-to-create-bug-reports/) and contact Support to fix your issue. Logs are needed in both cases!
Yea, pretty big bug…paying for weapons and getting bullets… I hope they give an extra to to all those to who it happened.
That’s why i buy the 450gs one, it’s better

I created a ticket around the same time I posted this; and the support agent seemed to be understanding (they reverted the purchase), but refereed to the ammo as a “non-listed bonus” and that I just “didn’t roll weapons”.
So I imagine the chance aren’t equally spread among the items, which is counter intuitive, since it says “up to 5 random items from the list”. That phrasing sounds like the “RNG” part of the container is the amount of items I could get, not the type. Games that usually have these kind of random boxes usually would have them described as something like “up to 5 items resource items, including monocrystals, and a chance to get a rare weapon”.
I found a video made with an older version of Star Conflict which has a different UI for containers, and in that UI, it does mention that there is a chance for ammo and that there are “Common” items and “Very Rare” items. Kinda strange that they didn’t include this very pertinent information in the new container UI purchasing.
