Connection Lost: can't connect to battles

I have installed the game recently and opened up to play but since the beginning (few days ago) every time i try to join a battle i get ‘Connection Lost: couldn’t not connect …’ although 1 out of 100 i do connect the rest of the time i am just spamming the re-join battle button. I tried temporarily disabling the AV but nothing. Just to note i played the game long before and it worked fine i know things changed since then but maybe it proves useful.

i could take screenshots if needed but it just keep happening any other log might show the problem? when i tested with the con_tester all packets were received. So i’m kind of lost. could a corrupted game file do this? account bugged somehow?

Once i enter a battle i dont get dc’d but it’s the phase of entering a battle that is a problem.

Note I tried with a new account of another steam account but still the same thing

I have tried using a different network on my end temporarily and the game works fine so i guess it’s the router blocking something but i have no idea what anything i should enable / allow on its end? I have these ports open for Star conflict on my end.

ah yes you’re right i apologize for that. I have tried doing as follow but i appear to have a problem within my router where the router appears to be trying to map many to 1 (similar issue different person) i ll try to figure it out .

thank you all for your help & have fun.

Don’t set lower MTU for your network! In that test scenario it says " pinging with  -l 1432 and down to -l 600" it means that it will send as small ping packets as possible. If you set your MTU to 600 it will definitely not work as it will try to fragment every single packet. The whole idea is to have MTU as big as possible - that test basically checks what the size of your MTU is and if your ISP doesn’t cut it down further.

It still bothers me why are you trying to manually port map all those ports. Your NAT setup should take care of it automatically as I don’t remember if there is a Star Conflict function that will initiate connection server side first. The rest is taken care of by a router’s NAT table, when your game client will reach to the SC servers. Just make sure those ports are allowed to connect and in a proper NAT setup router will take care of the port mapping itself.
