I downloaded the game recently, and was told by someone who has also downloaded the game and begun playing that for the first time upon booting the game up, there should be a pop-up asking whether or not I would like to link my Steam account to the Star Conflict account, and to log-in using your War Thunder account credentials.
Upon booting up the game for the first time, there was simply a login button with ‘Log in using current Steam account’ over it. When I pressed the login button, there was no pop-up window asking anything. Instead, the game simply returns an ‘Unable to connect to server’ error, despite the game telling me that the servers are currently online.
I have just finished working through the issue unsuccessfully via support ticket, and the person I was working with told me to submit a bug report here.
I have attempted launching the game through the launcher itself instead of through Steam, have checked all of the ports required to ensure that they aren’t blocked, have uninstalled and reinstalled (several times) to see if that solves the problem, and have performed a clean boot. None of these have solved the issue. I have not been able to get into the game at all to set up any sort of account or the like because of this issue.
