Hi guys,
I was wondering if there are action hot-keys you know like “target this unit here” or “Need backup” because if there is I can’t seem to find documentation on it the Wiki is a bit barren at the moment.

Not anymore, it was removed, but the differing options were somewhat ignored.
A ok, thanks for your reply. I noticed double tapping ‘R’ or ‘T’ locks you onto a Target or Beacon etc… do the other units on your team see that? kinda like suggestion point to defend or attack.
Single tapping locks on, double tapping pings. For pings your team might see it, and the default will not show up in their chat messages. It’s something the devs did to reduce “ping spam” and a change I’ve complained about. I haven’t gone overboard about it, but I guarantee that it not being default is an issue for pug matches. Other than a minority of players pinging every target lock on to get as many kills/assists as possible, it’s rarely abused. Someone attacking the captain will get multiple pings, someone trying to capture an “abandoned” beacon will get multiple pings, the next beacon will get multiple pings, but generally it’s a sole ping as in “help me since I can’t guarantee the kill.” Many matches have few pings.
