Combat recon captain change notification

I have played a few combat recon games where the captain has disconnected.

When this happens another player becomes captain.

This is good, however, having become captain in this manner I feel that it is not very obvious when this happens - thankfully my corpmate pointed it out to me.

There are a lot of things to pay attention to in the heat of a match, but a change in captain is pretty important in that mode!

Could we please have a big, obvious notification when you become captain mid-match, as what we have at the moment (if anything) certainly managed to escape my notice.

There is a notification, but not ebvious enough.

 

The best option in my opinion would be to add a sound notification : “You are the team captain”. Maybe with a buzz

That sexy female voice should say, “Your team captain has been changed.”

While I agree there should be notification as I have been on both ends you know sometimes there IS NOT Choice with disconnects   :008j:

 

LOL  I had just recently had it happen to me while I was Capt… running around in my standard issue ECM but with attack drones having a bit of fun and our side had the more kills… ( side note with CAPT 75 % those attack drones are EXTRA powerful :00555: )

 

 Poof I get disconnected and when I was able to get back right it was right at the end… 

 

Lord and Behold … the poor soul that was in a Jericho LRF back at spawn was the CAPT.    I guess he needed those 750 points more that I did as he sure did not have much more than that .
