Its still bad

taikin is still breaking the game. AF.

 

games where taikins are either really bad or non present are now quite fun and close

games where taikins play, indirectly get decided by them simply being frikkin broken.

yes, they dont instapop everything anymore, and yes, they do die now sometimes, but usually by then, the game is already decided.

 

it’s simply totally destroying the fun. we should call it taiquit, because that’s it’s real special module, making you ragequit the f* out.

 

there are many ships which we could argue about, yes, much things being slightly imbalanced, and in those i usually just trust that time will fix things, in others i came to realize, you are just not interested enough to reach higher, so I do not even bring it up…

but this overmobile, coupled with huge damage dealing abilities blinking sh*t will not be detected by your statistical analysis method, you need to get into your game, play it, and see how bad it is.

those blinks and all that uber manouverability needs some clearer drawback

stop stalling good decisions and make some _ real _ progress.

 

yes fifth day license is back, nice. but all this sugar won’t remove the bitter taste.

removing or overworking the rank restrictions would also be a major step forward.

Yes, i still don’t find the game enjoyable, and the biggest reason is the taikins, specially because of the teleport ability. Feels like I’m fighting with ghosts.
I can’t and don’t want to play always tacklers specially because I can’t even be sure you can counter them with it. Combining the instant teleport, permanent camo, very high damage, high speed and manoeuvrability is just too much.

I don’t get what should be the meta what should be the counter of the taikins. When I played recon, I was specially hunting tacklers, with spydrone and microlocator. And now seems the tacklers should be the strongest against taikins even if taikins are still the strongest against tacklers… 

The new destrospam because of the missions also don’t help. So I only do the xenochip missinons for now, no reason to play pvp atm. I think the rewards are good but i’m not gonna advertise a broken game to my friends because if I manage to convince anybody to join, they won’t stay for long with this balance, and for the long term it would just generate more negative reviews.

Inhibitor beam and big drone block jumps in line of sight. Inhi beam is too easy to break, but well placed big drone block those jumping fleas quite well. Especially on module range bonus tackie. And of course placing a isolating drone makes half of the team to instantly focus on you. Their mobility is still a problem. I seen abominations with over 180 roll speed. Hitting that thing with projectile weapon is nearly impossible, only bearable with small tackler drone combined with tharga inhibitor swarm. Slowing them down or shutting afterburners dont do anything, you need to cut their roll.

And those drone buffs hurt standard ships even more. Normal recon in reduced to target practice when exposed to small and big drone at the same time. Fed fighter exposed to small drone is good as dead as well.

I know what should be the tactic but its just not working like that. they have too much damage, in close range you are dead in seconds. They can decloak you with damage of the cloud, locator. the big drones are easy targets and if they jump close, the beam already useless. Also they can get out from the beam and maybe from inhibitor as well with camo. and some of them has the perma camo. the cloak also helps.  And yeah they are fast. even without the teleport, the speed would be a problem, but combined all together… Also who was the “genius” who thought a module what heals up after jump is a good idea? I thought the elly ships has OP modules what cost health as a downside. So why they get a module what totally compensate the downside. And the emergency shield what just indicate them when to escape… The game is just broken. These modules need balance.

Another update for SC Heroes where I have to reinstall the app because no update option in appstore (on latest iOs).
Can you please fix this? Its super annoying that every time when an updade come, instead of just update the app, I we need to remove it install from store again.
I’m sure every time you do this there will be some players who just stop after the uninstall.
