9.0

Btw, the amount of players that reduced didnt fell to below 1000.I see 1500- players now…

Nice list!

It was below 1000 regulary some time ago.

The number’s gone up the day of the patch.  Getting 800 players was standard last week for me.  Around 9-10 CDT, it could be below 500.  The problem with player estimates is the time of day per location.  I think not having enough people in the Pacific hurts that time period.  People don’t want to live in boats on the ocean and play games?!?!?!  It’s just a little early for Russians and the Chinese I’m just not sure about.  I know there’s a lot, but I’ve yet to see Chinese chat in a mission.

I imagine the game was purely amazing a year ago. Too bad I started playing just as all these horrible patches started rolling in. It’s not that I didn’t like the game, it’s just that the game is changing too much from the game I used to once love.

And for some reason I’m back here whining about it months later, despite only having played one game in the last patch.

The 0.7.x days were pretty awesome. I remember when I first bought my Phobos Aura and kitted it out as a command ship with stabrails. First time out and I got a Maniac medal.

I miss that ship. I cry softly into my pillow and night when I think of what Gaijin did to her. She went from being one of the greatest ships in Tier 2 to the worst ship in T3, if not the whole game.

Most patches have been really bad.  It seems that everything is designed to make the grind longer and more miserable.  This patch however 0.9.1 I can not be critical of.  0.9.1 was a very small step in the right direction.  (Prem ships worth *something* again, less squad impact, Jericho LRFs semi-viable again, etc.)
