With games being as small as 2v2 when they start, Team Battles will only have 10 lives per team. This doesn’t change when more players connect - so suddenly a team battle with 10 people in it still only has 10 lives to the team.
Needless to say, those games end in about 30 seconds.
It seems prudent to either:
Start with a higher count - say 30 no matter what. With only 7 minute matches it will go to time often, but that beats the alternative
OR
2) Have a dynamic expansion of the count as players connect. Perhaps every 4 players (2 per team) provides an additional 5 lives to the total. 10v10s would then be 35 ticket totals, which is a little low (used to be 45, I think) but it beats the alternative.
I’m hyped for the increased battle frequency. Just offering my two cents on how to keep it running smoothly.
Thoughts?
*edit* Crap. Forgot to put Team Battle in the topic line.
Extend the game time as well. More players joining should mean more time in the match. Otherwise, everyone’s just joining a game that’s already over because they don’t have time to turn the tide.
