I know that Open Space will get a rework. So maybe this wont fit to the game anymore later. But the suggestion will be there, and could be implemented in the rework. Often we hear; Transport is under attack, requesting assistance. First time, years ago i went and helped. It was worthless didn’t gave me a thing, thinking it was a dynamic mission.
So i propose that when transports request assitance, you get extra synergy for attacking the same targets as the escorts.
Depending on the sector rank, number of ennemies and type. We’d get a credit reward according to those previous elements. And for the new OS in the futur, maybe you could make that kind of dynamic missions. Kinda like those alien invasions. If possible, you Could use the same “mission trigger” used for those invasion and paste it to when cargo hit the comms and request assitance.
-Mission trigger being; The thing that launch the HUD/UI mission log on the right side of screen and the assignement to kill x number of aliens.
P.S. Forgot about those, but i’d suggest to, of course, do the same for the police patrols asking for assistance.
Suggested but none of what i said is repeated. Beside make it worthwhile to help them. I dont think it’s a duplicate., but anyway search function is hard to get. No matter the setting when i type something it just show me tons of page of the same thread. All the comments of said thread are there it seems. Even if i pick “topic” to narrow the search it still show me the same topic over and over.

My post was maybe a bit long, but if it would be described in one sentence:
A) Destroying attackers of a convoy would give extra credits/synergy.
B) You could call allied patrols to assist you if you get attacked(by non-player things).
So your suggestion would only enhance A) by making escort/defending it a dynamic mission popping up everytime it happen.
