It takes sometimes a lot of time to figure out where the drone is if you are not familiar with a sector or more of them. Since we all pretty much know the most of the locations, could we all please get a special indicator in open space that is showing the position of the cargo drone regardless if spawn or not. Minimap indicator will do great also, any indicator…

I like this idea. Sometimes it’s strange to find them - if another one used them and you don’t know the exact position yet.
Drones are generally located at the gate that is nearest to the main station, so if you’re in fed space it will be at the gate that is the shortest route to new eden. There are a few exceptions, though not many.

I already suggested this as well. I actually have 2 similar suggestions, related to cargo drones. Seek them out.

Anyways, I agree with this as well. Also a question, how much time does it take for the drone to respawn? One time I was going to use one, and saw fed engi coming to use it as well, I got it before him, but I felt bad for him.

Sometimes general knowledge isn’t enough, I mean, if we all know that they exist and use them everyday, an indicator is not much actually to ask for.

The fun quickly ends if u play in the open space for more than an hour in which at least 30% spent time is searching for the damn drone… Also I get why they dont put drones in the close sectors to the home of the given space, but i could bet i saw some sectors without any drones what so ever, anyhow, its a pain to search for them every single time, 5 slots of cargo get full every 5-10 minutes and then theres the “okay, wheres the damn drone, im sure its on this gate, no, maybe this one, no, maybe this one, aaaarrrrghhhh” part.

I still think they kinda halfassed the whole drone thing throughout the map. Thx for the map btw, haven’t seen it in a while.

Not saying it’s a bad idea, i was just giving you some helpful advice. Try it out, it works. Just be aware that if other players are in the sector it may have been used so you may need to what a minute or 2 for it to re-appear. There are only a handful of sectors that don’t adhere to this rule.

Yea i know, thx tho, but these handful of sectors confuse me sometimes when im on a long open space run.
