Now that you are required to complete contracts to rank up your reputation with the subfactions, it is critical that these contracts are actually possible to complete. Unfortunately it seems that some of them are bugged or otherwise impossible to satisfy the requirements.
For the sake of getting this information to the developers, I am creating a thread here for players to post about contracts that don’t seem to be completable. If you can complete any of these contracts please let me know what ship or modules you were using.
Redemption (Warden Rank 9) - Destroy 8 ships with the Warden Disentegrator module
- tested repeatedly in Acid Hydra, never got any completion progress for this contract.
Drain their Batteries (Warden Rank 10) - Deal 100000 damage to enemy shields
- tested in a variety of ships and tried different types of weapons/modules, nothing seems to give any credit for this contract.
Not enough Missiles (Warden Rank 10) - Destroy 10 enemy ships with any type of missiles.
- I got a “Finish Him” achievement (kill an enemy with less than 15% hull with a missile) several times while on this contract and still I see no credit.
Sucker Punch (Armada Rank 7) - Destroy 10 enemy ships immediately after leaving stealth mode.
- the requirements for this seem to be rather strict, or I just couldn’t seem to get them to work.
Snare (Techs Rank 6) - Immobilize 3 enemy ships with the help of the Tachyon cocoon module until they are destroyed.
- I don’t know if you are supposed to try to kill someone in the 2 seconds they are stunned from your tachyon cocoon special, I never seemed to be able to get any credit on this contract but that doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t possible… just ridiculously hard to satisfy the requirements.
